Business automation · Manchester

Business automation for Manchester businesses.

We work out what can be automated, then automate it — whole processes or a single bottleneck.

What we see in Manchester

Business automation · Manchester

Manchester has the largest economy in the North West and a digital and creative sector that has grown fast enough to pull talent out of London. It is also a city of mid-sized, owner-run businesses — the size where automation pays back quickest, because there is real volume but no internal IT team to build it.

The most common finding in Manchester is a growing business whose admin has scaled linearly with revenue — every new customer adds the same twenty minutes of manual setup. That is the clearest possible case for automation, and usually the fastest to build.

Sectors we work with here

  • Digital and technology
  • Media and broadcast
  • Manufacturing and logistics
  • Retail and ecommerce
  • Higher education and research

Also covering

Salford, Stockport, Bolton, Altrincham, Oldham and the rest of Greater Manchester. Most of our work is remote with visits where they earn their place.

The service

You know something in the business should be automated. You do not know what, and every quote you have had assumes you already do.

What it includes

  • A free discovery call — we map how work actually flows, not how the manual says it does
  • A shortlist ranked by hours saved against effort to build
  • Build of the automations, whether that is one bottleneck or an end-to-end process
  • Integration between the tools you already use
  • Handover, documentation and monitoring so it keeps running

What changes

  • Hours a week back, measured against a before-and-after you agreed up front
  • Enquiries answered out of hours instead of on Monday
  • Fewer things that only happen because one person remembers to do them

Common questions

The things people ask before getting in touch.

Ask us something else
What actually happens on the free discovery call?
Ninety minutes, usually with a screen share. You walk us through where you are and what is in the way — whether that is a process eating a day a week, a website bringing in nothing, or a product idea you cannot scope. We ask a lot of questions about the boring parts. Afterwards you get a written shortlist of what is worth building, a rough estimate of what each would return, and an honest note on anything we would leave alone. No charge, no obligation, and the findings are yours either way.
We do not know exactly what we need. Is that a problem?
That is the normal starting point, and it is the reason the call exists. Most people can tell you something is wrong, or that they want to build something, but not which version of it to build first. Working that out is our job, not yours. If you can describe the idea or the frustration, we have enough to start.
How much does a project cost?
It depends on scope, so any number quoted before the diagnosis is a guess. As a rough guide: a single automation or a focused landing page is typically low five figures; a marketing site or a small internal tool sits in the mid five figures; a full product build is larger and usually phased. After the call you get a fixed price for a fixed scope, so there are no surprises mid-build. Figures on the site are shown in pounds by default and can be switched — conversions are indicative, and the invoice currency is agreed before anything starts.
How long does a project take?
A single automation is often live within two to three weeks of starting. A marketing site typically runs four to eight weeks. Web, mobile and desktop applications depend heavily on scope, but we always aim to put something usable in front of you within the first few weeks rather than disappearing for a quarter.
